Description

Retatrutide (LY3437943) is a first-in-class triple agonist peptide that simultaneously activates the GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors. Compared with dual agonists, this innovative triple mechanism delivers more pronounced weight loss, higher energy expenditure, and greater hepatic fat oxidation. In a Phase II clinical trial, retatrutide achieved an average weight loss of 24.2% at 48 weeks; the Phase III TRIUMPH-4 trial showed an average weight loss of approximately 28–29% at 68 weeks, together with significant improvement in knee pain. In addition, retatrutide shows notable advantages in reducing liver fat, lowering glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels, and improving cardiovascular risk markers, with side effects consisting mainly of gastrointestinal reactions similar to those of incretin therapies. Retatrutide represents a new generation of highly effective metabolic therapeutics. This content is for research reference only and must not be construed as health, clinical, or legal advice or guidance.

Effects

May help suppress appetite and enhance satiety; supports research related to reductions in body weight and body fat; improves markers of blood glucose and insulin sensitivity; promotes energy expenditure and fat metabolism; may contribute to improvements in blood lipids and metabolism-related markers of fatty liver

Usage

For research or compliant clinical research use only; typically administered by subcutaneous injection after reconstitution, performed by qualified personnel in accordance with the study protocol or physician guidance; dosage, titration pace, and cycle duration must be set according to a formal study protocol; starting at a low dose with gradual titration is recommended, and self-escalation of the dose or long-term use is not permitted

Suitable for

Subjects in research on obesity- or overweight-related metabolic conditions; weight management/fat loss research programs; subjects in research on type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance; individuals requiring use under the monitoring of a professional medical or research institution

Not suitable for

Pregnant and breastfeeding women; minors; individuals allergic to Retatrutide or similar peptide components; individuals with a history of pancreatitis or severe gastrointestinal disease; individuals with a family history or history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2; patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment or uncontrolled major cardiovascular disease; individuals self-administering without professional guidance

Questions about Retatrutide

What is the intended use of Retatrutide?

Research reagents are intended solely for laboratory and in-vitro research. Suitability for a particular experiment must be assessed using the exact specification and available documentation. Accessories and consumables must be used according to their own specifications and documented intended use.

Can research reagents be used by or administered to people?

No. Research reagents are not for human use, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, clinical procedures or self-medication. A research-use label does not authorize use in people.

How can I verify the identity of Retatrutide?

The CAS number published for this product is 2381089-83-2. Check it against the exact SKU, specification and batch documentation before procurement or use; do not identify a material by its product name alone.

Is a certificate of analysis (COA) available for Retatrutide?

No COA is currently published on this page in the selected language. Ask the supplier about documents for the exact batch before use; availability is not guaranteed. A COA does not establish safety for human use or medical approval.

Does a purity result or COA establish safety for human use?

No. A reported purity result describes the sample and test recorded in the document. It does not establish safety for human use, clinical suitability or medical approval. Review the method, batch identity and relevant specifications for your laboratory work.

How should Retatrutide be stored and handled?

The storage information published for this product is: Unreconstituted lyophilized powder should be stored protected from light, sealed, and at low temperature; for long-term storage, it is usually kept at -20°C; after reconstitution, refrigerate at 2–8°C and use as soon as possible.. Confirm the batch-specific storage and handling instructions with the supplier before receipt and use.

Does an available shipping option mean the product can be imported?

No. A shipping quote at checkout is not import authorization. Before ordering, verify whether the exact product and quantity are admissible at the destination and what purchasing, import, documentation and use requirements apply.

What should I confirm before procurement?

Match the SKU, specification and batch or lot identifier to your research requirements. Request any required COA and safety documentation and confirm availability before ordering; documents are not guaranteed to be available. Also verify applicable requirements at the destination.
