
Description
HMG (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin) is a gonadotropin preparation extracted from the urine of menopausal women, primarily used to promote follicular development and ovulation, commonly in assisted reproductive treatment.
Effects
Promotes follicular development and maturation; induces ovulation; used for ovulation induction in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome; increases oocyte yield in conjunction with assisted reproductive technologies (e.g., IVF); improves spermatogenesis in male hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.
Usage
Usual dose: 75-150 IU daily, subcutaneous or intramuscular injection; adjust dose according to ovarian response; typically used for 7-12 days until follicular maturation; discontinuation and ovulation triggering timing should be determined under medical guidance combined with ultrasound and hormone monitoring.
Suitable for
Women with ovulation disorders (e.g., polycystic ovary syndrome); women requiring controlled ovarian hyperstimulation in assisted reproductive technology; men with hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (in combination with HCG).
Not suitable for
Hypersensitivity to any component of this product; patients with ovarian, breast, uterine, pituitary, or hypothalamic tumors; pregnant or lactating women; women with unexplained uterine bleeding; uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal dysfunction.
Ingredients

Storage
Store protected from light at 2-8°C, do not freeze; use immediately after reconstitution; if short-term storage is required, keep at 2-8°C for no more than 24 hours.
