Description

Bacteriostatic Water (often called Bac Water) is a sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is designed to inhibit bacterial growth, allowing multiple uses of the same vial over a period of time (typically up to 28 days). Bac Water is widely used in medical and research fields for reconstituting (mixing) injectable peptides, hormones, growth factors, and drugs such as HCG, Sermorelin, or other lyophilized powders. It is not intended for direct intravenous injection and should not be used as a substitute for sterile water in single-use applications. This content is for research purposes only and is for reference only. It should not be construed as health, clinical, or legal advice or guidance.

Effects

For reconstitution of lyophilized preparations; helps dilute to target concentration; bacteriostatic formulation reduces risk of contamination during multiple withdrawals; improves convenience of preparation and withdrawal.

Usage

No fixed dosage or schedule; add appropriate volume according to the recommended concentration of the target drug or peptide. Before use, disinfect the stopper, use a sterile syringe to withdraw the required volume, slowly inject into the vial of lyophilized powder, gently swirl to dissolve, avoid vigorous shaking. After reconstitution, administer subcutaneously or as specified for the corresponding preparation, following aseptic technique.

Suitable for

Users who need to reconstitute lyophilized powders or peptide products; laboratory or medical aesthetic institution preparation personnel; individuals using injectable preparations under medical or professional guidance.

Not suitable for

Those allergic to benzyl alcohol; neonates or premature infants; those without professional guidance; do not use if package is damaged, turbid, contains foreign matter, or is expired; those requiring large-volume intravenous fluid replacement.

Ingredients

Sterile water for injection, bacteriostatic agent benzyl alcohol (common concentration about 0.9%, refer to actual label).

Storage

Store sealed, protected from light, in a cool dry place, avoid high temperature and freezing. After opening or puncture, use promptly following aseptic requirements.
