Research-use disclaimer

Description
Adipotide (also known as FTPP) is an experimental synthetic peptide designed to selectively target and destroy blood vessels that supply white adipose (fat) tissue. It binds to prohibitin on the surface of fat tissue vasculature, causing apoptosis of these blood vessels, which leads to fat cell death and rapid reduction in body fat. It demonstrated significant fat loss in animal studies, but it has never been approved for human use due to safety issues, particularly potential kidney toxicity.
