Description
Survodutide (abbreviated as SUR) is a GLP-1/glucagon dual receptor agonist used for fat reduction and weight management. It helps reduce body weight by suppressing appetite and promoting energy expenditure.
Effects
Suppresses appetite, reduces calorie intake; promotes energy expenditure, accelerates fat breakdown; improves insulin sensitivity, assists blood sugar control; reduces body weight and waist circumference; decreases visceral fat accumulation.
Usage
Subcutaneous injection, initial dose of 0.5 mg once weekly, increase every 4 weeks based on tolerance, maximum recommended dose 4.5 mg once weekly; specific dosage regimen should follow doctor's advice.
Suitable for
Obese or overweight adults (BMI ≥30 kg/m² or ≥27 kg/m² with at least one weight-related comorbidity); healthy individuals requiring fat reduction and body shaping (under professional guidance).
Not suitable for
Individuals allergic to Survodutide or any excipients; individuals with personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma; patients with multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2; pregnant and lactating women; patients with severe gastrointestinal disorders.
